Emancipation Dinner
On Tuesday the 6th of February 2018 the Mayor of Margate Cllr Mrs Rosamund Dixon organised a Charity dinner to celebrate 100 years since Women’s Emancipation when women finally gained the right to vote
The mayor invited our community to the celebration and some responded. Michael Dianellou and his wife Mary, Panayiotis Kallis and his wife Marina, George Georgiou and his wife Christalla (president of the Philoptohos) and Michael Papadopoullos and his wife Ariadne all attended
The dinner was held at the Walpole Bay Hotel. The food and the service was impeccable. The Mayor welcomed the group at arrival and she seemed to be very happy that our community accepted her invitation
